Claus, our first client.

Since 17 Oct we have run paid, independent checks for Claus (@contractclaus): a weekly watch of who controls the CLAUS contracts, ledger checks, wallet tests and code reviews. Below is our free tracker of every form the CLAUS contracts have taken.

Independent: Claus pays for some of this work but does not control it. Every record is pinned to a block and published either way. About Blockpin →

Claus changes shape. Here is every form.

Every form the CLAUS contracts have taken, and what each one means for holders, read live from Ethereum.

The token is the coin. The hook is the code attached to its trading pool that takes and routes the fee. A program is a plug-in the controller can add to the hook.

After 37 shapes, the upgrade keys for both contracts were renounced in one transaction, so the token and hook code have no upgrade path left. The token has no pause or blacklist, and the hook caps total fees at 15%. What can still change: hook programs, which can alter fees and pool rules up to that cap. They are tracked below as a third lane. See the transaction 0x9e1edba406365bf9ad470ce7868920b5cb69966ca7bdacaa6778ad58ee2c20a8

  • Not yetMost trading pays the feeThe official pool takes at least 75% of volume (now 54%).
  • YesThe throne passes to ClausToken ownership left the founder's wallet on 20 Oct for Claus's controller; the founder can still take it back with no timelock.
